A simple time tracker for work.

Track your work hours in the browser. Type what you're working on, press Start, and stop when you're done. Free, and there is no sign-up.

No projects to set up, no integrations to authorise, nothing watching your screen. One field, one button, and an honest log of your day.

features

One field type → Start

Type the task and press Start. Enter works too. There is no second step, no form, and nothing to tidy up afterwards.

Timers run in parallel start again

Start a second timer without stopping the first. Overlapping time is allowed, because your day overlaps.

One row per task, per day 3 sessions ⌄

Stop and restart the same task and it stays one row with a combined total. Open the row to see, edit, or delete each session.

Tags live in the input #deep-work

Type #tag mid-sentence. It's lifted out of the name and becomes a filter. No tag manager, no picker, no colour dialog.

Keyboard from anywhere / or n

Press / or n anywhere on the page to land in the capture field. Escape hands the page back.

Fix it afterwards started earlier?

Forgot to press Start? Backdate it. Give it both a start and an end and it's logged directly, with no fake timer to babysit.

who it's for

One person tracking their own time. If you need timesheets to approve or staff to monitor, this is the wrong tool and says so plainly.

not included

Not a roadmap — these are decisions, and they're why the rest stayed small.

questions

Is this time tracker free?
Yes. It is free to use with no account, no trial, and no paid tier. It runs entirely in your browser, so there is no server for anyone to bill you for.
Do I need to sign up or create an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no login, and no email. Open the app and the capture field is already focused.
Does it work on Mac, Windows, and Linux?
Yes. It is a web app, so it runs in any modern browser on any operating system. There is nothing to install and no extension to add.
Can I run more than one timer at once?
Yes. Start a second timer without stopping the first. Overlapping time is allowed, because real days overlap.
Can I track billable hours for clients?
Yes, with a #tag per client typed straight into the task name. You can then filter the log to one tag and read its total. It does not produce invoices — it tracks the time that goes into them.
What if I forget to start the timer?
Backdate it. "Started earlier?" opens a date and time picker, and giving it both a start and an end logs the session directly with no timer to babysit.
Where is my time tracking data stored?
In your browser, on your device. Nothing is uploaded and there is no database. That also means it does not sync between devices, and clearing your browser data deletes it.
Does it track my screen or activity automatically?
No. Nothing reads your screen, keystrokes, window titles, calendar, or repositories. You type what you are working on and press Start.

Your day starts when you do.

Open it, type the thing, press Start. That is the whole daily loop.
