The short version: your time entries never leave your device, visits are counted without cookies, and Google Analytics runs only where the law lets it run by default or after you say yes.
Everything you type into the tracker — task names, tags, times — is kept in your browser's local storage, on your device. There is no account, no server and no database, so nothing is uploaded and nobody at this site can see it.
The flip side is honest too: it does not sync between devices, and clearing the site's data deletes it. The backup you can export from Settings is a file on your computer and stays there.
Every page on timetrackerforwork.com, the tracker at /app included, loads a small script from Kobbe (app.kobbe.io) that counts page views, where visitors came from, and a handful of clicks such as "Open tracker" or "Backup exported". It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It never receives what you type into the tracker.
Every page also loads Google's tag (gtag.js). In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it starts with every consent signal set to denied and stays that way until you press Allow in the bar at the bottom of the page. Until then it sets no cookies. Everywhere else it runs with Google's default settings and no bar is shown.
When allowed, Google sets _ga and _ga_… cookies for up to two years to
tell returning visits apart. If Google Ads measurement is ever switched on, a _gcl_au cookie for three months joins
them; this page will say so when that happens. The data goes to Google LLC and is
handled under Google's terms. Your time entries are never part of it.
Reading your current answer…
Pressing this forgets your answer, turns Google's consent signals back to denied, and asks you again on your next visit where that applies. Your answer is stored in one cookie for timetrackerforwork.com, so changing it here changes it in the tracker too.
